Well, it seems as though I'm not going to get anything done right now and while I feel enriched by my journey through quizilla, I think that real blogging might be more productive. Truly, the quiz surfing was becoming mind-numbing.
I keep trying to work butI feel a bit paralyzed. I feel stuck in the mud. Not like quicksand with its panic-induced anxiety or icky and dirty. More like when I was a kid visiting the Barrier Islands off of the SC/NC coast and I was walking through the marshes, neck high in whatever substance marsh is and moving slowly scraping my legs on the shells of crustaceans embedded in the marsh and rocks bruising my toes. It feels like so much effort. Part of it is, I'm sure, the result of the anemia but what else? I don't know.
On a side note, I bought Stitch'n'Bitch and I'm going to try to take up knitting again. I've never managed to learn anything beyond the most simple casting. Maybe it can be my zen exercise. To calm my mind and help me focus. Or it could just provide me with another avoidance mechanism. Only time will tell. Perhaps I should just go to sleep. Oh, Beloved....
Beloved is my lovely kitty cat and sleeping companion.
